What we do

Counsellors are available to support individuals who have mental health or substance use concerns as well as family and friends who are affected.

Our counsellors can provide individual, family, couples, and group counselling. Counsellors aim to match treatment intensity to each individuals’ unique journey of mental wellness and recovery.

You can receive counselling for various issues including but not limited to:

Fear and Phobias

Sexual, Physical and Emotional Abuse

  • Youth outreach workers

  • Recreational therapists

Although each of these professionals may not be located at the site nearest you, they may be available as consultants to the professional you see.

How to access this service

To connect with a counsellor in your area, you can visit a Doorways clinic or contact intake for children and youth. A referral from a health professional is not required; you can reach out to our intake staff when you are ready to start your wellness journey.
