Concurrent Addictions Specialized Treatment
What we do
Concurrent Addictions Specialized Treatment (CAST) is a specialized counselling program for individuals who are experiencing both mental health and addictions issues, known as concurrent disorders, where there is a significant impairment in functioning and/or a high level of distress.
We offer individual, couples, and family counselling. We also may provide group programming such as
- Cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) skills for anxiety and depression
- Dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) skills
- Seeking Safety, and
- Families C.A.R.E. (Helping Families Cope and Relate Effectively).
Treatment is recovery focused and takes a harm reduction approach.
